TalkHub.club is a global space for meaningful conversations and English speaking practice. We welcome participants from different countries, cultures, and language levels.

Our goal is to keep meetings respectful, useful, and safe for everyone. By joining TalkHub, you agree to follow these rules in all public and private interactions.

General Guidelines

  • Be respectful, polite, and constructive with all participants.
  • Stay on topic and give others time to speak.
  • Use clear language and keep discussions friendly for mixed language levels.
  • Respect different accents, opinions, and communication styles.
  • If you see harmful behavior, report it to moderators.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

  • Political and highly divisive debates: topics that usually trigger conflict are not allowed in regular community meetings.
  • Hate speech and discrimination: racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or insults toward any group are forbidden.
  • Harassment and trolling: bullying, intimidation, personal attacks, or repeated disruptive behavior are prohibited.
  • Spam and promotion: unsolicited ads, link spam, repetitive self-promotion, or sales behavior are not allowed.
  • NSFW and unsafe content: explicit content, illegal content, threats, or calls for violence are strictly forbidden.
  • Misinformation that may cause harm: knowingly spreading dangerous false information is prohibited.

Meeting Etiquette

  • Join on time and check your microphone before speaking.
  • Use mute when you are not speaking to reduce noise.
  • Do not record meetings without clear consent from all participants.
  • Use a readable display name and avoid impersonation.
  • Hosts may remove participants who repeatedly interrupt or ignore meeting rules.

Moderation & Enforcement

To protect the community, moderators and hosts may take the following actions:

  • Friendly reminder or warning for minor issues.
  • Temporary mute, removal from a meeting, or short-term restriction.
  • Permanent ban for repeated or serious violations.

Decisions are based on behavior impact and safety risks. If you believe there was a mistake, contact the team via site contacts for review.
